Uni Blues need a win here this morning to cement their place in the top 4 and they are taking no prisoners, Heat are not causing them too much trouble. Too many attack errors from Heat are keeping them out of the set. The Blues run away with it 25-11.
Set 2
Heat - Borgeaud, Beck, Langford, S Currie, D Tyrrell, Farrer, C Currie (L)
Blues - Whitburn, Morley, Stevens, Campbell, Bhachi, Weimann, Helfrich (L)
Again The Blues have streaked away to a commanding lead, 9-5. Borgeaud from the outside finds the seam to bring the Heat back to 6-9. Morley and Bhachi team up to block Borgeaud. Time out Heat at 7-15. Heat claim the first two points after the break, but Steven through the middle takes Uni Blues to 16-9. Farrer with a massive block, putting Heat into double figures 10-16. This time its Beck taking a leaf out of his Captain's playbook, roofing Stevens, 12-17. Time out Uni Blues, after a couple of handling errors, they still lead 20-16.
Borgeaud from the outside splits the blockers, 17-20. Heat are on the comeback trail. The dink from Borgeaud is too long, 22-17 Uni Blues. Time out Heat at 19-23. Heat have been more competitive in this set, maybe they take a little time to warm up in the morning?
Whitburn shenks it, Heat 20-23. A set point saved, Farrer with the roll over the net to get back to 21-24. Morley gets around the blocker to find the open back court, Uni Blues close out the set 25-21.
Set 3

Blues - Whitburn, Morley, Stevens, Campbell, Bhachi, Weimann, Helfrich (L)
At 7-all, there's a bit of controversy, Heat don't like at all the 4 hits called by the ref, but it has fired them up, they take the lead for the first time in the match at 9-7. Net touch called against Uni Blues, Heat maintain their two point lead, 11-9. Campbell with a great defensive up, but the next ball to come back across the net from Beck is too much to handle. Heat lead 13-11.
Whitburn not happy with the handling error called against him. Time out Heat at 17-16. Uni Blues have finally started putting some points together they take over the lead 20-18. Time out 18-21 Heat trail.
Morley with the block to give Uni Blues a four-point lead, 22-18. Uni Blues take the set 25-21, and the match 3-nil.
