AUSTRALIAN REFEREES TO FEATURE ON FIVB BEACH WORLD TOUR
Australian Referees once again will feature heavily on this year’s SWATCH FIVB World Tour.
Kevin Lentin is off to Shanghai for the Shanghai Jinshan Open from the 3rd till the 8th of May.
John Bennett is also heading off to Shanghai but will then be moving on to Korea for the Seoul Open from the 25th till the 30th of May.
John was also offered the highly prestigious European events Poland, Norway and Finland but had to turn them down due to the birth of his first child. Congratulations John, it sure will be a busy year for you!
Stephen Giugni who will be fronting up for his 14th year on the World Tour has been appointed to the Sanya Open in China 26th-31st October and to Phuket, Thailand from the 2nd-7th November.
Cameron Olson was offered a spot at the event in Seoul but was unavailable due to prior commitments.
Australia’s most prominent female beach referee Catriona Tweedie is in for a busy winter!! Catriona’s first appointment will be at Norway at their Grand Slam event in Stavanger, 28th June - 3rd July. She will then make her way to Gstaad, Switzerland for another of the “Slams” from July 6th – 11th.
Finally Cat finishes her trip with the World Series in Marseille France on the 19th-25th of July.
