FIVB Presidential candidates confirmed

It is with great excitement and anticipation that we announce to the Australian Volleyball community that Volleyball Australia President, Chris Schacht has been confirmed today as a candidate for the Presidency of the Federation Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB).  Election for this prestigious position will take place on 21st September in Anaheim, California, USA during the 33rd FIVB World Congress.

There are two other candidates vying for the presidency along with Chris:

Ary Graca Filho (Brazil)
Doug Beal (USA)

The coming months will prove to be crucial in securing enough votes from the 220 national federations across the world that will be attending this meeting and entitled to vote.
